Dennis Barry Phillips, 71, of Marshall, Michigan, passed away on March 12, 2024 at his home in Marshall. He was born on January 6, 1953 to David Burt and Patsy Pauline (McCoin) Phillips in Waltham, MA. Denny married Gail Warsop in Marshall, Michigan. Denny worked as a Manager for Walters-Dimmick Petroleum. He was the manager for Johnny’s Shell Station.  

 

He was an avid golfer and he enjoyed riding his Indian Chief Motorcycle with his wife, Gail. They enjoyed traveling together. He would go to his son, Cameron, dirt bike racing events. Denny was a wonderful Husband, Dad, and Grandpa.  

 

Denny is survived by his loving spouse, Gail Phillips; son, Cameron (Shelby) Phillips of Marshall; brothers and sister, David Phillips, Jr., Donald Phillips, Linda Phillips; grandchildren, Taylor and Carson Phillips and a baby on the way, Rayne; mother-in-law, Jacqueline Warsop; brother-in-laws, Harold Warsop of Buckeye, Arizona, Donald (Sue) Warsop of Fostoria, Ohio, Gailord Warsop, Jr. of Marshall, Michigan, Jon Warsop of Marshall, Michigan and Dale Warsop of South Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family in-laws.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.  

     

Graveside services will be held at a later date at Lyon Lake Cemetery. 

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27N, Marshall, MI 49068.
