Dennis Duane Mains
Born on May 20, 1971 in Coldwater, MI, of immaculate conception to the life that came ahead. He attended school in Coldwater, Marshall, Tekonsha, and Fletcher, N.C. After receiving his GED he returned to night school to gain his high school diploma from Coldwater High.
Out of school, he worked in several factories before landing at Tennecco Automotive as a welder, then line leader for 12 years. After leaving Tennecco as a certified welder he moved on to Bentler Automotive, then J&L Manufacturing where he has currently been working for the last 6 years.
Dennis married the love of his life Brandy Milne on August 27, 2010. With this marriage they blended their two beautiful families. These two people found in each other great love, acceptance, joy, peace, and a true best friend.
Dennis most enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and wife. His most blessed hobbies were riding his motorcycles with his son-in-law and daughter, riding in charity bike events, taking his grandkids on their 1 st bike rides, or even just riding alone. He loved playing golf, playing video games with his son Bret, and fishing. He also enjoyed planting flowers, listening to music, playing with his dogs, and spending quality time with his best friend his wife.
He leaves behind six children, Taylor (LC) Mains of Albion, Kally (Larry) Mains of Battle Creek, Bret (Jasmine) Mains of Marshall, Mercedes (Nathan) Splese of St. Joseph, Dalyn (Kaitlan) Trine of Colorado Springs, CO, and Dakota Trine of Marshall; six grandchildren, Brayden (Meats), Braylee (Flash), Braya (MT) Smith, Lawrence Jacox III (Lil Bit), Aydin and Ezra. He also leaves behind his two cherished dogs, Midget and PeeWee Mains.
Dennis was a man of men. His world was many times black and white. However, when Dennis married Brandy, she brought a whole new color of grey into his world. He leaves us way too soon, but he leaves us as a now happy man.
