David Edward Nicholas Wright earned his wings January 1, 2023. David was born smiling October 14, 1991 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Philip (Nicky) and Becky Wright. Throughout his earlier years he was active in the Battle Creek Boys Choir, Trinity Episcopal Church, art clubs, Latin Club and band. David loved drawing alongside his father and sisters; he came from a long line of artists. David was known for smile, laughter, charm, sensitivity and thankfulness of those that were a part of his life. David truly loved his family, especially his mom, sisters and stepfather. David joins family members who died way too early including his father, sister Sharon Hodsdon (Wright), maternal/paternal grandparents and several pets. David leaves behind many broken hearts of not only friends from Cali and Ann Arbor including loads of gaming buddies who cared and loved him including his Mom, Stepfather Neil Somsel, sisters Ambre (Chicago) & Britainy (Sitka, AK) Wright, Lindsey Walker (Marshall), brother Julian Wright (Vancouver), step-siblings Elizabeth (Buffy) and Andrew (AJ) Somsel and Uncle Randy Hathaway. A service will be held Saturday, January 28th, 1:00 pm to celebrate his life at Trinity Episcopal Church, Marshall, MI.  Preferred memorials are to Erin’s Angels Rescue of Quincy, MI for his love of the feline. Arrangements were entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068.
