Daniel Wayne Leonard

Daniel Wayne Leonard, 59, of Battle Creek, passed away on Monday, October 4,2021 at his residence.

He was born on January 3,1962 to Gordon Leonard and Linda Willison in Battle Creek. Daniel graduated from Bellevue High School and in 1985 he started work at Denso in Battle Creek as a laborer for over 25 years.

Daniel loved to go fishing, watching sports-especially football, playing poker and NASCAR. He was a very giving person and was consistently helping the homeless community but, Daniel would never ask for help himself.

He is survived by his mother; Linda (Jack) Willison of Bellevue, his daughter; Natasha Ann (Nic Belt) Crow of Battle Creek, his grandson; Austin Crow of Battle Creek and his brother; Jeff (Lynn) Leonard of Chapin, S. Carolina. Daniel was preceded in death by his father; Gordon Leonard and his brother; Allen Leonard.

A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday, November 7,2021 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post #298, 228 20th St. Springfield, Michigan. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Bellevue at 3:00 PM on Monday, November 8, 2021.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Haven of Rest in Battle Creek.
