Colleen Streets

Colleen was born to Mildred (Saunders)(Moor) Siefert and Steven Moor on March 25, 1939, in Clarendon Township.  She attended Homer Schools.

On December 23, 1955, she married the love of her life, Joe Streets.  They were married 66 years.

Colleen took pleasure doing crafts, sewing, reading, and gardening. She loved to dance and was a wonderful cook. As well as being a stay at home wife and mother, she worked at Falconer’s in Homer and Hopps Colonial Pharmacy.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joe Streets; children, Timothy (Peggy) Streets of Concord; Pamela Streets-George (Michael Miller) of Tekonsha; Sharon Streets of North Carolina; grandchildren, Kristi (Lance) Chandler; Jayden (Kasi) Nevins; Erik (Kadi) George; Amanda Streets; Rusty (Renee) Nevins; Shane (Samantha) George; Trisha (April) George; Erin (Christopher) Remynse; and 11 great-grandchildren, Kameron, Ayden, Talon, Madison, Elycia, Kyler, Ava, Max, Mason, Charli, and Wilder.

Colleen’s celebration of life will be held on September 24, 2022, at the United Methodist Church in Homer with the Rev. Julie Elmore and Pastor Bev Clark co-officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Homer United Methodist Church.
