She was born on December 18, 1956 to Richard and Barbara "Barb" (Cook) Hiscock in Battle Creek, Michigan. She graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1975.
Earlier in Cindy's working career she was a custodian at Olivet College, and she retired from Stryker Corporation in Kalamazoo, Michigan as a custodian as well. Cindy was a longtime member of Kalamazoo Valley Church and was part of their security team. Cindy enjoyed camping with her sister Judy throughout the State of Michigan, was an avid bird watcher, fishing, swimming, Gull Lake being her favorite. When not outside she enjoyed reading and going thrift shopping. Cindy's most special times were spent with family especially her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Cindy is survived by her loving sister, Judith (Dan) McMillen of Delton, Michigan; her nieces, Jamie (Tim) VerStrate of Dowling, Michigan and Kate (Josh) Webb of Holland, Michigan. She is also survived by great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Debra Bauer and her brother, Dale Hiscock.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Country Chapel Church (9275 M-37 Dowling, Michigan 49050). with the memorial service to follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Rick Foster officiating.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105).
