Carl O. Hansen

Carl O. Hansen of Marshall, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 20, 2022, at the age of 77. Carl was born in Sparta, Michigan on July 26, 1944.

Upon graduation from Sparta High School in 1962, Carl furthered his education by obtaining an Associate Degree from Ferris State University. Carl honorably served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Eaton Corporation in Marshall from which he retired in 1999.

Preceding him in death was his father, Oswald; mother, Agnes (Swanson); and sister, Karen. Carl is survived by several cousins and close friends in both Marshall and Sparta.

Services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068, where visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 24, 2022, with Pastor Rev. Cheri Johnson officiating. Burial will take place at 2:30 PM in Greenwood Cemetery, W. Division Street, Sparta, MI 49345
