Bill F. Hall, Sr., 82, of East Leroy, MI passed away on July 13, 2021, at Glenn Arbor Hospice in Battle Creek, MI. Bill was born on March 06, 1939, in Dayton, TN to parents Roscoe and Elsie (Dagley) Hall.
Bill was a graduate of Spring City High School, Spring City, TN in 1956. He worked as a Tool & Die Maker for General Motors retiring in 1998 after 30 years of service and enjoyed a lifetime of farming. Bill attended South Side Bible Church for many years. He enjoyed vacationing with family throughout the U.S., gardening, hunting, and fishing. But his favorite entertainment was playing cards and visiting the casino.
Bill is survived by his children, Bill (Jan) Hall Jr. of Climax, MI, Jim (Brenda) Hall of East Leroy, MI, and Ricky (Patty) Hall of East Leroy, MI; grandchildren, Kori (Frank) Chapa, Zach Hall, Kendal Hall, Casey Hall; and great grandson, Deacon Chapa. Others include sisters, Helen (Joe) Payne of Athens, MI, Judy Messenger of GA; sister-in-law's Lois Hall of Dayton, TN, Jan Hall of Hixson, TN; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many special friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his life partner, Marie Angus; wives, Barbara (Hankes) Hall and Sarah (Yates) Hall; parents, Roscoe and Elsie Hall; brothers, Dennis Hall, Curtis Hall, Donald Hall, John Hall, Kenneth Hall; and brother-in-law, Clair Messenger.
The family would like to express a very special thanks to Bill's caregivers: Savannah, Kim, Troy, Kristi, and Aprill. You made it possible for him to remain at home, and your care gave us more time with him than would have been possible any other way! "Thank You!"
Services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 2838 Capital Ave SW Battle Creek, MI 49015. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Interment with a graveside service will take place on Saturday, July 17th at 11:00am at Leroy Congregational Cemetery in East Leroy with Chaplain Jim Hall officiating.
