Beatrice May (Clark) Seaman

Beatrice May (Clark) Seaman, 94, of Marshall died on Sunday October 1, 2006, at Oaklawn Hospital.Mrs. Seaman was born on November 26, 1911, in Marshall to Fredrick and Alta (Bailey) Clark. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1929. On September 1, 1936 she married Louis H. Seaman in Marshall at Trinity Episcopal Church. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1992.Mrs. Seaman was a home maker. She enjoyed taking care of her family. She also worked for a short time at Page Patton Medicine Company, and the Children''s Shoppe. She was a life member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, was also a sustaining member of the Marshall Civic Players. She was a former member of the Marshall Monday Club. Mrs. Seaman enjoyed cooking, baking and reading. She also enjoyed playing bridge. She belonged to different bridge clubs in Marshall. She was an avid fan of the University of Michigan sports and the Detroit Tigers.She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law George and Myra Seaman of Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters Cecil Steele and Alma Gresso-Watson.A memorial service will take place at 11:00am at the Trinity Episcopal Church on Saturday October 7, 2006, with the Reverend Leonard J. Brinkmoeher officiating. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Franke Center for the Arts.
