Barbara "Jill" Lynch

July 24, 1946 — April 8, 2024

Homer

Barbara "Jill" Lynch, 77, of Homer, Michigan passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.

Jill was born on July 24, 1946, to William “Bill" and Marcella (Draper) Bronson in Albion, Michigan. On February 14, 1987, Jill married Fred Lynch in Cadillac, Michigan. Together they spent 47 years by each other’s side.

Throughout her life, Jill worked as a nurse’s aid in the obstetrics department in the Albion Community Hospital. As a family, the Lynch’s were seasonal campers, checking in as soon as school let out and not leaving until Labor Day. They frequently camped at County Park on Swains Lake in Concord, Michigan. Jill enjoyed sunny days spent on their pontoon floating on the lake.

Those around Jill knew how much she loved her family and her dogs, or as she referred to them, her “babies”. Jill took great care of her husband during their later years.

Jill is survived by her loving husband Fred; two Sons, Brian (Toni) Mulkey of Homer, Michigan and Michael (Tracy) Mulkey of Green Bay, Wisconsin; two Sisters, Maryann Bronson of Tekonsha, Michigan and Teresa (Terry) Hartle of Findlay, Ohio; many grandchildren, one great-grandchild, as well as her “babies” Boots and Skipper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Bronson; and her dog Muffin.

As per Jill’s wishes, no services are planned at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N., Marshall, Michigan.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105) or the ASPCA (P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929).
