Arlen Jay Bowler, 60, of Battle Creek, passed away on January 30, 2022, at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, MI.
He was born on December 21, 1961, to Richard Berry and Hazel (Bowler) Harju. He graduated high school from Tahquamenon Area Schools. Arlen worked as a Forklift Driver for Tenneco in Marshall for over 30 years. He enjoyed working on engines. Whether it be cars, snowblowers, lawnmowers or anything else with an engine, he could fix anything. He was a collector of all things.
Arlen is survived by his daughter, Denielle (David) Haack and his son, Ryan (Sky) Bowler; four Sisters, Mary Berry, Lori Berry, Andrea Monroe, Lorry Webb, and four Brothers, John Berry, Raymond Vincent, Kirk Bowler, Carter Berry; two granddaughters, Hannah Haack, Luna Bowler and one grandson, David James Haack.
He was preceded in death by father, Richard Berry and his mother, Hazel Harju.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Arlen’s life will be held from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068.
