Ann E. Shaw

Ann E. Shaw, age 81, of Marshall, died Tuesday evening, December 16, 2008 at Lifespan Hospice Residence. Ann was born August 6, 1927 in Muncie, Indiana to Don and Susie (Lord) Irving. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1945 with honors. She attended Ball State University and graduated from Indianapolis Methodist Hospital School of Nursing with honors in 1949. Ann decided at the age of 5 to become a nurse and was a Registered Nurse for 70 years. Ann was a warm, loving, giving person who cared deeply about others. She said "There is no greater gift than knowing I have relieved physical, mental or spiritual pain.
