Angela "Angie" Dawn (Powers) Serbantez

Angela "Angie" Dawn Serbantez, 51, of Nashville, Michigan passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 23, 1972 to Arthur Powers and Denise (Nichols) McComb in Marshall, Michigan.

She graduated from Galesburg High School in Galesburg, Michigan and then attended Davenport College in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Angie worked as a medical biller at Trinity Health Grand Rapids for many years.

While living in Lafayette, Indiana, Angie was a board member of the Greater Lafayette, Indiana Soccer Association. She enjoyed coloring, crossword puzzles, crocheting, reading, and watching Cinderella movies. Angie was a University of Michigan, Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Pistons, and Dallas Cowboys fan. She looked forward to visiting zoos, especially to see the Giraffe's. Her greatest love was her family and especially her grandchildren.

Angie is survived by her mother, Denise (Bruce) McComb of Nashville, Michigan; her children, Jeffrey Serbantez of Nashville, Michigan and Samantha (Jamie) Hall of Nashville, Michigan; her former husband, Rene Serbantez of Nashville, Michigan; her grandchildren, Mateo A. Hall and Willow Mae Hall; and her sisters, Lona Kane of Nashville, Michigan and Shannon (Anthony) Briarton of Adaline, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Powers and her brother, Russell McComb.

Visitation for Angie will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, Michigan 49068 with the funeral services to follow at 12:30 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Oakridge Cemetery in Marshall, Michigan at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Health Cancer Care Center-Grand Rapids, Michigan.
