Andy Kidd

Andy Kidd, 84, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan.

He was born on November 11, 1938 to John and Victoria (Mullens) Kidd in Dritt, Kentucky. Andy worked as a longtime cook at Win Schuler’s in Marshall, Michigan.

Every year, Andy looked forward to planting his vegetable garden. He always grew the best vegetables and loved sharing them. He enjoyed walking, camping and watching television. He will be sadly missed by his family and at Schuler's for being such an excellent cook.

Andy is survived by his children; Jennifer (Clifton) Williams of Battle Creek, Michigan, Rose (Philip Robarts) Kidd of Marshall, Michigan, Vicky Kidd of Battle Creek, Michigan, Julie (Craig) Mileski of Jupiter, Florida; and Anthony "George" (Melissa) Kidd of N. Carolina; his  15 grandchildren, Bobbie Steinebach, DJ  Farr, Heather (Eric) Green, Larry Adkins, Danyelle DeRose, Nicole (Allen) Adcock, Drew Kidd, Tiffany Kidd, Lindsey Lassiter, Courtney Lassiter, Carter (Samara Beaman) Depins, Kyle Williams, Grace (Connor) VanTilburg, Cora Williams, Faith Williams. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Jaunita Adkins-McCart, his second wife of 29 years Barbara Jean Kidd, his granddaughters, Monique Kidd and Brittany Despins, and many brothers and sisters.

A private celebration of life for Andy will take place at a later date.
