Alice Louise Tuttle, 76, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on April 7th, 2024.
Alice was born in Marshall, Michigan on September 19, 1947, to Edward and Leona (Yaudes) Hoyt. Alice graduated from Pennfield High School in 1966. She married John William Tuttle on November 17, 1967 in Battle Creek, and they began a beautiful life of love and legacy, enjoying almost 57 years together. Alice was an amazing woman of faith and treasured her life as a homemaker. Sometime later, she went to work at Felpausch and dedicated over 20 years there. Alice enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and crafting with her husband, John. The most important thing to Alice was her family. She was humble and kind. She loved spending time with her loved ones, doing puzzles, playing cards and most of all playing spoons. Her love language was acts of service, which included cooking and baking for any and every occasion.
Alice will always be remembered for her kind heart and her infectious smile. We will forever, continue to hear her say… “I love you more today” again and again. We couldn’t have asked for a better Wife/Mother/Grammie/Sister or Friend and we’ll miss Alice every day. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Hoyt and Leona (Yaudes) Hoyt; sisters, Iva “Jean” Hoyt-Yaudes and Carolyn Bush. She is survived by her husband, John Tuttle; children, James (Karla) Tuttle, Karen (Jeffery) Sawyer, Rebecca (James) Parr, John (Alicia) Tuttle II, and Shaun (Rochelle) Roach; sister, Wanda (Bob) Aldrich; 24 Grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
