Alan J. Broxholm

Alan J. Broxholm, 71, of Homer, passed away on January 24, 2022, at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, MI.

He was born on June 10, 1950, to Wallace and Marguerite (Morris) Broxholm of Albion, MI. Alan was a Class of 1968 graduate from Albion High School. Alan worked as a Laborer for 25 years with Hayes Albion and an additional 23 at Andreas Construction. On May 29, 1971, he married Judy Findley in their home town of Homer. Alan played softball for the Martin Marauders for many years; was an avid golfer; enjoyed fishing and spending time in Northern Michigan.

Alan will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Judy; daughter, Melissa (Scott McCrum) Broxholm of Brooklyn, MI and son, Scott (Hope) Broxholm of Galesburg, MI. Along with two granddaughters, Hanna, and Tessa; two grandsons, Cooper, and Lucas; brother, Keith (Lugene) Broxholm of Jackson, MI; sister, Sharon (Robert) Hurd of Marshall, MI and best, lifelong friends, Hop & Margaret Hopkins of Coldwater, MI. He was preceded in death by father, Wallace Broxholm.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 303 S. Hillsdale Street, Homer, Michigan 49245. A Celebration of Life will be held on February 1st from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Community House, 112 W. Adams Street, Homer, Michigan 49245.
