Traci Lons

Traci L. Lons, age 49 of Homer, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Allegiance Health Hospital in Jackson. She was born in Jackson on June 13, 1966, daughter of Howard and Sally (Munsie) Griffis. Traci graduated in 1984 from Hanover-Horton High School. She received her associate's degree in Child Education from Jackson Community College in 1986. On February 11, 1995, Traci married Andy Lons, the love of her life.Traci enjoyed baking, reading, planning and coordinating events, but most of all spending time with her family.Surviving Traci are: husband Andy Lons of Homer, son Joseph Lons of Homer, daughter Cecelia Lons of Homer, parents Howard and Sally Griffis of Horton, sister Jodie (Ryan) Boehlke of Albion, mother-in-law and father-in-law Calvin and Judy Lons of Homer, niece Kylie (Nick) Brigham of Ypsilanti, nephew Storm Boehlke of Ann Arbor, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.Visitation will be on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 6-8 PM and on Tuesday, October, 6, 2015 from 10-11 AM at the Concord United Methodist Church, 113 S. Main St. Concord, MI. A memorial service celebrating the life of Traci will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor David Elmore officiating.
