Maryann Behl

Maryann Behl, 86, of Marshall died April 7, 2015 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. She was born on November 7, 1928 in Buchanan, MI to Hosea Andrew Coultas and Mary Belle Swartz.Maryann was a member of the Buchanan Church of Christ and Marshall Church of Christ. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, bingo, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.Maryann worked as a sales clerk for Redman's Paint and Wallpaper for 17 years. She then went on to work for Darling and Daughter Variety Store for several years. She retired in the early 1980's.Maryann is survived by her three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Powell of Marshall, Laura Lynn Behl of Marshall, and Dorothy Mae Behl of Albion; one granddaughter, Jennifer Ortiz; brother, Jerry P. Coultas of Buchanan; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Hosea Andrew Coultas, Oliver Joseph Coultas, Hilmor Coultas, and David Eugene Coultas; sister, Verna Austin; half-brother, Richard Samuel Milner, and half-sister's, Dorothy Harlan, and Rose Martin.Visitation will take place at the Craig Kempf Family Funeral Homes, 723 US 27 North, Marshall Chapel from 10am-12pm on Saturday April 11, 2015 with family present to greet friends at that time. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 12pm on Saturday April 11, 2015 with Mr. Rocky Newsome officiating.Memorial contributions are requested to the Lions Club Sight Program.
