Trish A. Albrecht, 41, of Battle Creek died on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo from injuries sustained in an accident.
Trish was born on April 16, 1977 in Marshall to Richard and Sandra (Bates) Purcell. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1995, and she attended Grand Valley College and Davenport College. On October 9, 2004, she married Adam J. Albrecht in Marshall. He survives.
Trish was employed at Select Specialty Hospital at Bronson Battle Creek as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She also had been working part time at The Oaks in Battle Creek. Trish enjoyed dancing and took part in the Dance Dynamics Adult dance classes. She was an avid reader, going up north to the lake, and camping. Trish loves spending time and supporting her family, and she especially loved spending time with her daughters.
She is survived by her husband, Adam of Battle Creek; her daughters Peighton and Taylor of Battle Creek, mother, Sandy Purcell of Marshall, sister Tonya (Ross) Jones of Battle Creek; niece Makenzie Bonnell of Marshall; mother-in-law Tammy Albrecht of Marshall; and brother-in-law, Kyle (Francesca Nielsen) Albrecht of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Purcell in 1990, and her father-in-law Stephen Albrecht in 2004.
Family will greet friends on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 4-8pm at the Marshall Chapel of the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 US 27 North Marshall. Funeral services celebrating her life will take place at 11am on Friday October 12, 2018 at the Marshall Chapel of the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services with Jacob Washburn officiating. Family will gather with friends following the services at the Robins Nest in Battle Creek. Memorial contributions are requested to the family for her children's education fund.
