Terry Lee Fleming

Terry Lee Fleming age 75 of Homer passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 22, 2021. Terry was born on March 15, 1945 in Albion, MI to George W. Fleming and Carol J (Sheerer) Fleming. He graduated High School from Homer High School and then served in the Army and received the Army Commendation Medal for his duties in the Vietnam War. He later was a supervisor at Harvard Industries.

Terry married Nancy (Wiest) Sims on August 23rd, 1971 in Albion, MI. They had three children. He enjoyed collecting, fishing, hunting, woodworking and tinkering with his cars and other projects. The moments shared with his grandkids brought the best out of him.

He is survived by his three children, Leslie (Adam) Schiermyer of Queen Creek, AZ, Elizabeth (Tim) Collins of Queen Creek, AZ, and Alan (Katie) Fleming of Marshall, MI; his children's mother and friend, Nancy Sims of Marshall, MI; His sisters, Georgia Fleming of West Palm Beach, FL, Beth (Phillip) Fleming Brown of Windermere, FL, April Rodsiller of Barbourville, KY, and Susan (Ken) Blight of Albion, MI; and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed deeply by his seven grandchildren, Addison, Millie, Crew, Owen, Emerson, Zachary, and Mollie. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Alex Fleming, and a nephew Andrew Baeumler.

A visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2020 at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 303 S Hillsdale St, Homer, MI 49245. Due to Covd-19 and gathering restrictions the family will have a private funeral ceremony with interment in Cooks Prairie Cemetery.
