Sara Anne Affolder

Sara Anne Affolder, age 39, of Bellevue passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 in Bellevue, MI surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 18, 1980 in Battle Creek, MI, the daughter of Kenton Affolder and Sallie Jo Maitre. She is survived by her loving companion, Brian Brandon, their daughter, Sierra Anne Brandon; and her mother, Sallie Jo along with her loving companion Dave McFadden. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenton Affolder.

Sara grew up on a farm South of Nashville, MI, where she attended Maple Valley schools through the 6th grade. Her family then moved to Bellevue. She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1999 and continued her education at Kellogg Community College.

Sara's favorite motto was "Live well, Laugh often, Love much" and she was a living example of that. Sara was selfless in the way that she cared for her friends and family. She was always willing to help in whatever way she could. Sara loved to cook and anyone who entered her home did not leave hungry.  She was the ultimate hostess and always asked “what can I get you?” as soon as you walked through the door.

Sara was a devoted mother who loved to support her daughter in all of her hobbies. She especially loved the role of "Horse show mom". She also enjoyed going camping, taking road trips with her family, and spending time with her friends.

Sara was a person of faith who lived her life serving others. Her memory and beautiful smile will live on with all that knew her.

Cremation has taken place and burial of Sara’s cremated remains will be in Riverside Cemetery in Bellevue. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and the restrictions of our state the memorial service will be private at this time.
