Ronald "Jake" M. Eitniear

Ronald "Jake" Merle Eitniear, 81, of Olivet, Michigan passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at home.

He was born on November 11, 1940 to Merle and Flossie (Hart) Eitniear at Windsor Township, Michigan. Ronald "Jake" worked as a Semi-Driver for General Motors-Lansing for 32 years, retiring in 1993.

Ron loved to help his friends around their farms. He enjoyed traveling, hunting mushrooms, cooking, going out to eat and being outdoors. He was always on the go with his dog Nikki.

Ronald "Jake" is survived by his children; Marke M. Eitniear of Charlotte, Michigan, April Miller of Auburn, Indiana, Penny Eitniear of Quincy, Illinois and Mary H. Dotson of Lansing, Michigan; his 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and his two sisters, Shirley Gilbert of Dimondale, Michigan and Ann (Wayne) Vahs of Branch, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Eitniear, Ted Eitniear, Wayne Eitniear and Jane Eitniear.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Dimondale Cemetery, Windsor Twp., Michigan.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of one's choice.
