Ronald L. Iden of Battle Creek, MI and Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away suddenly on September 18, 2021 due to complications resulting from COVID-19. He was born in Battle Creek to Beverly (Pluff) and Leon James Iden on July 4, 1953. His parents preceded him in death. Ron married Bonnie Roepke in 1976. They have two children The Honorable Brandt J Iden of Kalamazoo and Ashlyn M. Iden of Clermont, FL. Surviving is his sister Brenda Figel of Oceanside, California, along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Ron graduated from Harper Creek Schools in 1971. He was the epitome of an American entrepreneur. Throughout his illustrious career he owned several printing companies, Baron Transport Inc. (a trucking and airfreight company), a real estate development company and a health insurance company. Like his father, he was also a licensed builder and developed hundreds of residential properties throughout the Southwest Michigan region. Ron lived life to the fullest and spent his free time enjoying the great outdoors of Michigan from hunting and fishing to riding his Harley Davidson along the coastline. He was an avid pilot and adventurer. However, his greatest passion in his life were his children, Brandt and Ashlyn. There will be a visitation and celebration of Ron's life at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 2838 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015 on Mon, September 27, 2021 from 4:00-5:00pm. With a time of sharing prayers and memories beginning at 5:00pm for anyone who would like to say a few words in Ron's honor.
