Romaine "Janice" (Mullins) Caldwell

Romaine “Janice” Caldwell, 83, of Homer, MI passed away on August 8, 2021, at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice in Jackson, MI. Romaine was born on February 5, 1938 in MacBeth, WV, and was the last surviving child of Charlie and Ivy Mullins.

Romaine worked for St. Regis/Waldorf Paper Company for twenty-five years. She had many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed gardening, making floral arrangements, watching Home Shopping Network and reading Better Homes and Garden Magazine.

Romaine is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Ivy Mullins and her loving husband of 66 years, Franklin D. Caldwell. They were united in marriage on April 24, 1954. Left to cherish her memory are their children, Teresa Osborne, Max Caldwell, Deborah (Michael) Hancz; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US HWY 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068. The funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 2 p.m. A graveside service will follow in West Eckford Cemetery.
