Robinette "Robin" Kay Drumm

Robinette “Robin” Kay Drumm, 71, transitioned peacefully from the comfort of her home into the arms of her Heavenly Father while surrounded in love by her family on August 8, 2022. She was born June 19, 1951, in Albion, Michigan to the late, Thomas E. Miller and Florence Signor. Robin graduated from Hanover-Horton High School in 1969. A graduate of Battle Creek Beauty College with a license in Cosmetology and she was also a graduate of Kellogg Community College with an associate degree in Business Management and Accounting. Robin worked at St. Regis Paper Company for a few years, was a co-owner with her husband of Drumm’s Speedy Chick for 10 years, worked at Dotson and Alles CPA Firm, J.J. Steel Inc. as the controller and finished her career as a G.O.A. for the State of Michigan. Robin married Samuel Berry in 1970 but the marriage ended in divorce, and she married Bill (Willard) Drumm in 1978.

Robin enjoyed spending time at their home in Lake City, traveling with her husband, Bill as well as cooking and baking for her family and friends.

Robin is survived by her beloved husband, Bill; children, Susan (Edelmiro) Ramos of Battle Creek and Aaron (Samantha) Berry of Marshall; wonderful grandchildren, Quin Berry, Elly Berry, Sammy Ramos and Exio Estep. She is also survived by her extended children with Bill, Cindy Wolff of Coldwater, Kathy Allwardt of Coldwater, Doug Drumm of Quincey and Jill Potter of Waldron; more wonderful grandchildren, Darin Wolff of Bronson; Danielle Jay of Bronson, Sonja Walling of Reading, Todd (Katie) Wolff of Walkerton, IN, Cody (Alicia) Drumm of Tekonsha, Joshua (Marlayna) Drumm of Quincy, Scott Drumm of Litchfield, Rick (Alyssa) Allwardt of Jonesville, Randy Allwardt of Marshall, Jessica and Chris Smith of Reading; also great grandchildren, Chaselyn and Gavin Preston, Logan Allwardt, Carson Drumm, Tricia and Cassidy, Alaina Jay and Jay Minnick; as well as one great great grandson. Robin is also survived by brothers and sisters, Rene (Linda), Rick (Peggy), Roxanne (David), Rita and Trixie. Robin is preceded in death by parents, and brothers and sisters, Roberta, Randy, Rolland, and Roger.

Services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 12:00pm until the Celebration of Life service begins at 1:00pm.
