Paul Fraley

Paul Fraley, 77, of Marshall, MI passed away on March 26, 2021 in Marshall, MI. Paul was born on July 17, 1943 in Albion, MI to the late Theodore and Myrtle Sutherland Fraley.

Paul worked in the refuse service his entire life and owned and operated Marshall Disposal Service for the last 25 years of his career. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and enjoyed coon hunting and rabbit hunting. He liked harness horse racing and he and his wife Brenda owned race horses of their own during the 70's. He loved watching old western movies. You could normally find him at his favorite coffee shop, Kates Diner with a smile on his face. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Brenda Fraley. They were united in marriage on June 28, 1975. Left to cherish his memory are their children, Randy Fraley, Jody (Ken) Truitt, Trudy (Jack) Gwilt, Robert Fraley, Jay (Lauren) Fraley, Debbie (Carlos) Fraley, PJ (Ardena) Fraley, Amanda (Scott) George, Emily (Ken) Finney, Russ Oliver; his step son, two former sons-in-law, Erik George and Ernest Robinson. Paul was preceded in death by his son, Teddy Fraley; his granddaughter, Kallie Sue Fraley; and three brothers, Joseph Fraley, Monroe Fraley and Herman Dowell.

Visitation will be held at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068 from 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the funeral home, with cremation to follow after the service. Jacob Washburn will officiate the service.
