Obituary

Patricia A. Zasucha, 71, of Marshall, Michigan passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan.

She was born on April 13, 1950 to James and Rose (Dotson) Hixon-Cole in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Patricia married Thomas E. Zasucha on November 2, 1973 in Marshall, Michigan, but sadly he preceded her in death on January 28, 1994.

She worked for over 30 years in Marshall at the Eaton Corporation, then at Eaton Proving Grounds, ending her career at Borg Warner, in all supervisory positions.

Patricia loved her pet dog ZipZap, as they went everywhere together. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds, playing solitaire, riding motorcycles and flower gardening. Patricia would commonly be seen driving around the area roads in her favorite car, a Corvette.

Patricia is survived by her loving daughter; Nichole K. Zasucha of Marshall, Michigan, her grandchildren; Eric (Audrey) Lownsbery of Tecumseh, Michigan, Evan (Kay) Lownsbery of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, Taylor Brubaker of Marshall, Michigan, her great grandson; Levi Lownsbery and her sister; Carolyn Boughton of Marshall, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Thomas, her daughter, Debbie Lownsbery and her brother, James Hixon.

Visitation for Patricia will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N Marshall, Michigan 49068 with funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place Albion Memory Gardens.

Memorials are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans the American Cancer Society.
