Milo Eugene Stanton

Milo "Mike" Eugene Stanton, 82, of Newaygo, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Mercy Health-Mercy Campus in Muskegon, Michigan.

Mike was born on August 17, 1938 in Lakeview, Michigan to William Burtus and Beatrice Alice (Everett) Stanton.

He was a veteran of the Unites States Air Force.

Mike worked as a Machinist at Eaton Corporation in Battle Creek for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing. Mike also learned woodworking and had a knack for doing electrical work.

Mike is survived by his children; William (Paula) Stanton Newaygo, Michigan, Angel (Chris) Fritz of Battle Creek, Margie (Ty) Thompson of Battle Creek and Lene St. John of Phoenix, Arizona, his 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, his son Charles, his parents and his siblings, Clarence Stanton, Burtus Stanton, Helen Cooper, Barbara Beudre, Sandy Bedford, Margaret Kinsley, Tootie Lower, Mae Rosemary and Kittie Middaugh.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 2838 Capital Ave SW Battle Creek, Michigan 49015.

Funeral services for Mike will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home with Jacob Washburn officiating. Interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
