Linda C. (Stevens) McFadden

Linda Carol McFadden, 75, of Tekonsha, Michigan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 10, 1947 to Elmer "Mike" and Betty (Walter) Stevens in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Linda was a 1965 graduate of Union City High School. On July 24, 1965 she married Earl McFadden in Union City.

Linda worked part time at K Mart in Marshall, and she has also worked at the Tekonsha District Library and as a dispatcher for the Tekonsha Fire Department. Her most current job was at McDonald's in Tekonsha.  Linda attended First Baptist Church of Tekonsha, the First Baptist Church of Coldwater and currently at the Burlington Church of God.  She enjoyed reading, watching TV, camping, garage sales and going to auctions. Linda and Earl enjoyed meeting once a month at a different restaurant with their many close friends. She absolutely loved being a homemaker and spending time with her children and great grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her loving spouse of 57 years Earl, her children, Brian (Kathy) McFadden of Hampton, Virginia, Scott (Michelle Fortin) McFadden of Newport News, Virginia and Tracy McFadden of Galesburg, Michigan, her 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, her siblings, David (Jody) Stevens of Burlington, Michigan, James “Jimmy" Stevens of Battle Creek, Michigan and Patricia (Gilbert) Jones of Sturgis, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Linda will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, Michigan 49068.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Burlington Church of God, 300 E. Leroy St. Burlington, Michigan 49029 with visitation starting at 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at the church. Pastor David Rails, officiating.

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Union City, Michigan.
