Linda L. Ackley-Coger, 78, of Nashville, formerly of Charlotte, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 13, 1941 in Litchfield, Michigan the daughter of John M. Titus and Della R. (Kintigh) Titus-Rounds.
Linda was a 1960 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. She worked as an assembly line worker at Carefree Manufacturing in Charlotte for several years and prior to Carefree, she was a seamstress for Baby Bliss in Nashville.
She enjoyed taking her friends to different churches in the Nashville area, going for car rides, fishing and being outdoors.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Tracy (Patti) Ackley of Bellevue; Tammy Welker of Nashville and Dawn Bennett of Jefferson City, Missouri; her 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Francis Ackley and her second husband, Arden Coger; her siblings, Faye Zeeb; Fern Gentry; Margaret Demond; Shirley Everett; Dale Edward Titus and Robert Titus, her son in law, Matthew Bennett and her grandson Mathias Bennett.
A Celebration of Linda’s Life Service will be announced at a later date.
