Leon C. "Chuck" Kelly

Leon C. "Chuck" Kelly, 65 of Marshall died on Saturday, February 16, 2019 as a result of a car accident.
Chuck was born on October 16, 1953 in Marshall to Lawrence and Bonita (Gore) Kelly. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1972.
Chuck worked for the Eaton Company in Marshall for many years and he retired when the plant closed. After he retired, he cared for his mother and his Uncle Lloyd Gore. Chuck was a former member of the Marshall Moose Lodge. He was an avid outdoorsman. Chuck loved hunting and fishing, and he would spend countless hours caring for his land to get the perfect hunting property. From planting trees to clearing a great spot for a blind. Chuck was very particular on hunting and how to go after a trophy deer. He loved riding motorcycles and caring for his cats and chickens.
He is survived by his children, Sharon (Chuck) O'Brien of South Carolina and Todd Cook of Coldwater; granddaughter Leeza Leven of South Carolina; a great-granddaughter Eliza Kelly; step-daughters, Stacey (Eric) Phelps and Cortney (Robert) Banker; eight step-grandchildren; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and Uncle Lloyd Gore.
Family will greet friends on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 4-7pm at the Marshall Chapel of the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 US 27 North. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February, 22, 2019 at 1:30pm at the Marshall Chapel of the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services. Family will gather with friends following the services at the Marshall Moose Lodge.
