John F. Strough Jr.

John F. Strough, 71, of Battle Creek died on Thursday April 30, 2020, at the Laurels of Bedford following a short illness.

John was born on March 25, 1949 in Wakefield, Michigan to John and Mayme (Lehti) Strough Sr.  He graduated from Marshall High School.  He participated in cross country and track, was a member of the National Honor Society, and the French club.  Following high school, John went on to earn his bachelor’s and masters degrees.

John participated in a Kellogg Company program in Computer Operations and was a college professor in Louisiana for several years.  He attended St. Marys Catholic Church.  John enjoyed Amateur Radio.

He is survived by his brother Hal Strough of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; nephew Eric Strough; niece Kristen Strough; and a sister-in-law Karen Strough.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother William J. Strough.
