John J. Quigley III

John J. Quigley III, 41, of Marshall died on Friday July 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family following a long illness.

John was born on October 24, 1978 in Marshall to John J. and Nancy (Hayes) Quigley II.  He graduated from Marshall High School 1997.  On October 20, 2018 he married Carrie A. Ferrucci at the Fredonia Holiness Church.

John worked for many years at MKD and left in June 2019 due to illness.  John loved his old cars especially his Monte Carlo and Jeep.  He loved the outdoors, kayaking and being on his four-wheeler.   John love spending time with his family and friends. John loved life and will be missed by all that knew him

He is survived by his wife Carrie; Carrie’s sons Noah Eychner and Logan Eychner; grandson Wyatt Ferrucci mother Nancy (Kent) Nelson; father John Quigley II; grandfather, Philip Hayes and Jack Quigley; aunts Vicki (Walt) Mesik, Debbi Quigley  and Conni Quigley; uncle Ronald Hayes; cousins Justina (Mark) Fetner, Merry (Andrew) Coffman, Shaina Shamam and Sivan Shamam.  He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Barbara Hayes in 2012 and Suzanne Quigley in 2015; and aunt Terri Trubac in 2004.

Family will greet friends from 4-8pm on Monday, July 20, 2020 at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 Old US Hwy 27 N Marshall MI 49068.  **Due to Covid-19 please us the marked entrances and exits when coming to visitation.**  Funeral services celebrating his life will take place at 11AM on Tuesday July 21, 2020 at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 Old US Hwy 27 N Marshall MI 49068.  Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.  Family will gather with friends following the committal service at the Kempf Funeral Home Marshall Reception Hall.  Calhoun County Relay for Life.  Memorials can be mailed to the Kempf Funeral Home PO Box 519 Marshall MI 49068 for delivery to the charity.  Leave a personal message for the family and sign the online guestbook at http://www.kempffuneralhome.com John’s funeral will be streamed on his obituary page on the website.
