John Louis Popp, Jr. 64, of Coldwater, passed away on April 8, 2023, in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on June 16, 1958, to John and Luella (Patterson) Popp in Onekama, MI. John earned an associate’s degree, started his own company, John Popp Builders and retired over 35 years later. John and his wife, Cindy lived in Coldwater, Michigan. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
John is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; four brothers, Don Benn of Punta Gorda, FL, Richard Popp of Free Soil, MI, Jerry Popp of Free Soil, MI, and Jimmy Popp of Free Soil, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Luella Popp; brother, Robert Benn and sister, Patricia Benn.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, Michigan, 49068. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Humane Society of Branch County, 969 Wildwood Rd #9508, Quincy, MI 49082, and Animal Aid of Branch County, 217 N Fiske Rd, Coldwater, MI 49036.
