Georgia Lons, 92, of Marshall died on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Medilodge of Marshall following a short illness.
Georgia was born on August 4, 1928 in Albion Bernhard H. and Georgia E. (Childers) Marshall. She graduated from Albion High School in 1947. She married Leland Lons in 1947, and later their marriage ended in divorce.
Georgia worked for the Tek-Hi restaurant in Emmett Township for many years. She also worked at McDonalds in Marshall. Along with working, Georgia was a care giver and took care of several family members in their illness and end of life care.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Lons and Lavonne Moreno; grandchildren, Donald Moreno and Joanna Lons; plus five others; eight great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Bernhard Marshall, Bert Marshall and Jim Marshall.
