Eric "Erc" C. Rice

Eric “Erc” C. Rice, age 61, of Battle Creek, passed away in the care of Thomas and Carrie Wildsmith Jr.

Eric was born on August 23, 1960. He worked as a firefighter for fifteen years for GM Powertrain in Toledo, Ohio, retiring in 2006. He loved fishing, hunting, and karaoke. He was an avid fan of University of Michigan football and watching his best friend Thomas race at Galesburg Speedway. He enjoyed bonfires and spending time with his dogs.

He is survived by his best friend, Thomas Wildsmith Jr. and his wife, Carrie; his sisters, Kathy Rice, Diane Klipa, and Judy Taylor. Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Rosina Rice; his brother, Paul Rice, and his grandparents.
