Elouise "Mena" A. Francisco

Elouise  “Mena” A. Francisco, age 98, of Ceresco, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2020, with her family at her side. She was born in Emmett Township on March 22, 1922, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruth (Lutz) Spooner. She was united in marriage with Frank Francisco on March 22, 1947; he preceded in death on March 3, 2006. She was a member of Newton United Methodist Church and the Fredonia Grange. She worked at Kellogg’s, retiring after 42 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. She was a long-time exhibitor at the Calhoun County Fair, where she won many ribbons. She is survived by nine nieces and nephews; many great nieces and great nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Spooner and Lawrence Spooner Jr. Friends may visit with the family from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068. **Per the families wishes, the funeral home staff will be limiting the number of visitors in the chapel at any given time to 50 people, in order to comply with the Governor’s executive order. We all appreciate your understanding during this difficult time.
