Elisabeth Grace (Bramble) Simich

Elisabeth "Libby" Grace Simich, 33, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on June 12, 2021 at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Elisabeth was born on November 13, 1987 in Marshall, Michigan to Craig R. and Linda K. (McKeague) Bramble.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Central Michigan University in 2014. Libby was a Math Teacher at Marshall Academy for the past year and prior, she taught at Starr Commonwealth for one year and at Battle Creek Central High School. Her first teaching position was in Warren, Michigan in which students from Detroit were brought in for instruction.
She loved teaching to students that needed extra help, attention and love.
Libby enjoyed bowling, she was on the Marshall High School bowling team and on their swimming team. She was excellent with technology and became the go to person at Starr Commonwealth. Libby was not the least bit afraid to tackle household projects and in fact accepted it as a challenge. Libby loved going to the cabin on Lake Huron and relaxing by the water. Growing up, she and her dad had special times going fishing and camping.
Above all else, she cherished her family, especially her children.
Elisabeth is survived by her loving husband; Mark Simich, her children; Luna and Xavier, her mother; Linda Bramble of Battle Creek, Michigan, her siblings; Katelyn Green of Athens, Michigan and Craig Bramble of Marshall, Michigan, her mother and father-in-law; Jennifer (Sam) Simich of South Lyon, Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father Craig and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
A private graveside family gathering will be held.
A Celebration of Libby's life will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 12 Noon until 3:00 PM at Leila Arboretum Kaleidoscope Garden Pavilion, 928 W. Michigan Ave. Battle Creek, MI 49037.
