Doris Leona (Davis) Howard

Doris Leona Howard, 98, of Marshall, formerly of Nashville, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Maplewood of Marshall.

She was born on October 26, 1923 to Alfred and Thelma (Roscoe) Davis in Lansing. Doris worked as a Nurses Aide at Thornapple Manor in Hastings for 20 years, retiring in 1985.

Doris loved to garden especially vegetables and flowers and she enjoyed wintering in Florida.

Doris is survived by her loving daughters; Starr Gillette of Marshall, Dawn Hill of Hastings and Donnya (Boyd) Pufpaff of Kalamazoo, her three sisters; Veral Judd of Lansing, Virginia Gage of Lansing and Evie Eubank of St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Howard, her parents and three sisters.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment will be at Kalamo Cemetery in Kalamo, Michigan.
