Donald J. Mosher, 78, of Marshall died on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Oaklawn Hospital following a short illness.
Don was born on September 7, 1943, in Albion to Lloyd and Neva (Marrow) Mosher. He graduated from Albion High School in 1962. On November 18, 1978, he married Debra A. Wilbur in Albion.
Don worked for Harvard Industries in Albion, and he retired in 2000 when the plant closed. He later went on to work as a custodian for Concord Public Schools for eight years retiring in 2009. Don could not just retire for the past few years he been working part time as custodian at Marshall Regional Law Enforcement Center. He attended Family Bible Church. Don enjoyed volunteering with the food pantry, the warehouse at the food bank, and spending time with the elderly. He also had a love for music, playing piano and singing. He loved his family especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Todd (Donna) Mosher, Kristi (John) Farnham, Misti Stephens, Jeff (Mitchell) Mosher, Jennifer (Isaac) Huff, Sean (Kendi) Mosher, and Ashley (Dustin) Brunner; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, David Mosher, Richard Mosher, Beverly Mosher and Elaine Heath. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughters Audrina Renee Mosher, Quinn Ryley Brunner; son-in-law Wendell Stephens; six brothers; and five sisters.
Visitation will take from 1-3pm on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 US Hwy 27 N Marshall MI 49068. Funeral services celebrating his life will take place at 11am on Monday, November 22, 2021, at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 723 US Hwy 27 N Marshall MI 49068. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Concord.
