Dolores R. Chapman, 94, of Marshall, passed away on November 19, 2022, at Best Care West, in Marshall, MI.

She was born on May 17, 1928, to Leslie and Helen (Bloomhuff) McKee, in Battle Creek, MI. She attended Marshall High School. She was the secretary and president of her class, graduating with the class of 1946. She loved school. Dolores worked for Lowell Livingston for quite a few years, working for his son-in-law, Michael, once Lowell passed away. She barely escaped the fire in the 70’s, that destroyed one of the old buildings. She worked as a Secretary for the Academic Dean, at Olivet College until her retirement in 1998.

Dolores was an avid walker. Walking all over Marshall, remembering times when she was young. She was a golfer, bowler, and loved bicycling. She stayed active, walking around town. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Richard. They were able to visit 48 states.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was also a member of the Marshall Moose Lodge.

Dolores is survived by her Two Daughters, Beth Ann (Kevin) Howard of Marshall, MI, Cathy L. Baker of Port Charlotte, FL; Son, Daniel Frederick Chapman of Marshall, MI; Three Sisters, Mary Louise Comstock of Sun City, AZ, Nancy Arlene Warner of Marshall, MI, Marilyn Green of Marshall, MI; Brother, Ronald L. McKee of Rockville, MD; Two grandchildren, Katie M. Howard, Hannah (David) Oswald; Two great-grandchildren, Finnegan Oswald, Owen Oswald.

She was preceded in death by Husband, Richard H. Chapman, Sister, Bettie Willerick, and her parents.

Interment will take place in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, in the spring.

Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Episcopal Church or Best Care West.
