David W. Wilson

David W. Wilson, 79 of Eckford Township, died on Wednesday September 16, 2020 at his home.
David was born on January 4, 1941 in Marshall to William and Doris (Reid) Wilson. He would graduate from Marshall High School in 1959. David would continue his education for many years going to University of Michigan for his bachelor's degree, Eastern Michigan University for his master's degree, and his doctorate in Mathematics from Wayne State University.
David was a college professor for many years. He worked at Wayne State University, the US Virgin Islands, and he would retire from Albion College. Following his retirement he would still go on and continue to teach, spending time at Kellogg Community College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Glenn Oak Community College, and Jackson Community College. David attended Salem United Church of Christ in Albion. He also was a member of the Celtic Group in Kalamazoo. David enjoyed writing, gardening, flowers, and inventing games.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
