Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Abercrombie, age 63, of Battle Creek passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 in Battle Creek, Michigan surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 22, 1956 in Battle Creek the daughter of Paul E. Snyder and Helen M. Ackley. Cindy married Griffin “Griff” on September 22, 1973 in Battle Creek, sadly he preceded her in death.

She was a member of the New Hope Apostolic Church in Battle Creek. Cindy enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, crafting, playing bingo, watching wildlife, hunting, going camping with her grandchildren at Yogi Bear Campground and watching Andy Griffith Shows. She will be remembered for having big Halloween Parties and for her gift of baking. Her greatest love was providing for her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Eddie P. (Shannon) Abercrombie of Battle Creek; Griffin F. (Christina) Abercrombie II of Battle Creek; Cindy J. (Gary) Moore of Battle Creek and Daniel L. (Valerie) Abercrombie of Battle Creek;  her grandchildren; Eddie Jr., Brianna, Tori, Daniel II, Jacob, Autumn, Andria, Brice and Dillon; her siblings, Ellen (Kevin) Burke of Battle Creek;  Nora Snyder of Muskegon; Paulette Snyder of Battle Creek; Susan Chadwick of Dorr; Nathaniel "Butch" Pierce of Battle Creek and Donnie (Paula) Pierce of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her husband, her siblings, Katherine Banks; Walter Essex; Thomas Snyder and Kenneth McDaniel.

A private family funeral service will be held at New Hope Apostolic Church in Battle Creek with private interment at Hicks Cemetery in Pennfield Township.
