Curgie Rosemary Langridge

Curgie Rosemary Langridge, age 81, of Springfield passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 in Springfield, MI surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 14, 1938 in Salyersville, KY the daughter of the late Ernie and Mary (Barnett) Marshall. She was a home health aid worker and owned and operated her own nursing home in the Marshall area. She had a “green thumb”, and most days she could be found tending to her garden. She once won an award in Battle Creek for the most improved flowers in her garden. If not spending time in her garden, she was trying to out fish her brothers. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Danny Joe Bryan; daughter, Elaine Snyder; son, Ken (Sherry) Bryan; son, Larry (Michelle) Bryan; daughter, Melissa (Michael) Salyers; brother, Wilber (Donna) Marshall; brother, Clifford (Anita) Marshall ; sister, Stella Miller ; grandson, Jeremy Bryan; granddaughter, Andrea Smith;  grandson, Orion (Nikki) Peavey;  granddaughter, Renee (Nathaniel) Shelton; grandson, Shaun Cook;  granddaughter, Carrie Snyder; grandson, Daniel Bryan; granddaughter, Crystal Hoag;  grandson, Larry Bryan Jr.;  granddaughter, MacKenzie Gilliam;  granddaughter, Victoria (Drew) Chapman; grandson, Malachi (Kelli) Salyers;  grandson, Jeremiah Salyers; grandson, Zachariah Salyers; grandson, Elijah Salyers. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Allie Bennett, Maxine Lee and Helen Mains and brothers, Hobert Marshall and Albert Marshall. The family will receive friends at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068,  on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel at 11:00 am on Friday, January 3, 2020. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Tekonsha.
