Coreen A. Kiewiet

Coreen Ann Kiewiet, 65, of Battle Creek, MI passed away peacefully on June 06, 2021, at Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek, MI.

Coreen was born on August 02, 1955, in Detroit, MI to parents Billy G. Walsh and Joan M. (Pawlaczyk) Bartz. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and animals, but especially loved spending time with grandchildren and watching Jeopardy as well as the annual "Girl's Color Tour" of Upper Michigan.

Coreen is survived by her mother, Joan Bartz; her children, Danielle Lamb and partner Cliff McNees of Kalamazoo, MI, Aaron Lamb and partner Kendra Knight of West Valley City, UT and stepdaughter, Amy Kiewiet of Kalamazoo, MI; grandchildren Jasmine, Kaylie, Evelyn, Rylee, Tiffany, Austin, Jonathan, Andrew, Keagan, Angelica, and Emily; several great-grandchildren and other chosen grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Weber, Betty Pawlaczyk, Victoria (Edward) Haas, Natalie (Michael) Voss and brother, Wayne (Laura) Bartz. Coreen was preceded in death by her husband, David D. Kiewiet; father, Billy Walsh; stepson, David G. Kiewiet, and brother, David Pawlaczyk.

The family will gather with friends on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 2838 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015 with Jonathan Lee Kiewiet officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
