Obituary

Cecil L. Ritter Sr., 68, of Marshall died on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his home following a short illness he is now reunited with the love of his life Maybelle.
Cecil was born on November 6, 1952 in Three Rivers to John and Sylvia Ritter. He married Maybelle A. Wood, and she preceded him in death on September 18, 2015.
Cecil owned and operated his own Adult Foster Care home in the Marshall Area for several years. He also worked at several different sawmills and factories prior to that. Cecil enjoyed camping, fishing, and being outdoors. He enjoyed stockcar racing and raced at several different tracks in the area. Cecil loved spending time with his family especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by four children, Patsie (Mark) Stout, Cecil Ritter Jr., Tammy (Robert) Teegardin, and Paul Ritter; six grandchildren, Laurie (Aaron), Crystal, Buddy, Gracie, Charman (Vern), and Billie Jo (Cody); six great-grandchildren, Desire, Samantha, Brenden, Sara, Dominick, and Adalynn; two brothers, John and Clyde. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a infant son; and ten siblings.
A private family service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society.
