Bruce Lee Miller

Bruce Lee Miller of Tekonsha, age 81, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 15, 2020. He was born on February 3, 1939 in Albion, MI, the son of Howard and Mildred (Foley) Miller. He was a graduate of Albion High School. He was a farmer, farming over 2,500 acres with his brother Philip for forty-three years. He was united in marriage with Christine Eleanor (Estelle) Miller on January 9, 1960. They shared many happy memories together and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He was an avid car enthusiast, especially of Corvettes. Bruce was a member of the Jackson Corvette Club, was a founding member of the American Agriculture Movement and served as President of the Homer Historical Society. Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Christine Eleanor Miller; three daughters, Michelle “Micki” Miller, Cara  (Jamie) Mestdagh, and Linda (Eric) Stemaly; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Lauren, Erika, Bruce, Alexis, Bo, and Shannon; two great-grandchildren, Arianna and Bentley; his brother, Philip (Luanna) Miller; nephews, Dan and Brent (Melissa). Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Howard Miller; and his mother, Mildred (Foley) Wilson and Ben Wilson. Friends may visit with the family from 4 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 303 S Hillsdale St, Homer, MI 49245. The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the funeral home, officiated by Rick Rockwell and interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
