Beverly "Bev" J. (Ruess) Schippers

Beverly "Bev" J. Schippers, 72, of Marshall, Michigan passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan.

She was born on August 7, 1949 to Earl and Elizabeth (Buckmaster) in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Bev worked as a Laborer for Pro-Co Sound- Kalamazoo, Michigan for many years, retiring in 2013.

Bev dedicated her life to helping others, especially her family. She was an incredibly selfless person. She enjoyed collecting angels and her many Shih-tzu and Boxer pet dogs she had over the years. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.

Bev is survived by her children; Jason (Tiffanie) L Ruess of Battle Creek, Michigan, Michael Schippers of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Amy Darling of Covert, Michigan, her 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, her siblings; Roger (Aileen) Ruess of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Margaret Miner of  Bloomingdale, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Roxanne Barker.

A private memorial service for Bev will take place at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.
