Virginia “Ginny” Dixon
Ginny Dixon, age 76, passed peacefully at Pennfield Premier Living on October 11, 2021. She was born March 12, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents Guy C. and Gertrude D. (Delbrook) Dixon, and brother Don M. Dixon.
Ginny was born and raised in Indianapolis. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School. She attended Indiana University and worked as an administrative assistant in the area. She was passionate about theatre and singing, which resulted in trips to New York City and London. She loved animals, having Brittney Spaniels in her youth and a dear companion, Fancy the cat later in life. Ginny moved to Battle Creek in the late 1970s with her parents. In Battle Creek she was nearer to her brother and family members. Ginny was an active member of the parish and choir at St. Phillip Catholic Church. She did volunteer work throughout the community.
She is survived by her nieces, Anne Dixon and Carol Ritchie.
