Ceresco

Tresia Ann Vest, 66, of Ceresco, Michigan, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
She was born on June 20, 1957 to Joseph and Mary Jane (Reffitt) Shepherd in Martin, Kentucky. At an early age, Tresia was saved by Reverend William R. Starr in Albion, Michigan.
On February 23, 1973, Tresia married Earl Vest in Clintwood, Virginia.
She was employed for many years as a clerk and then became an assistant manager at Interstate Truck Stop, Battle Creek, Michigan but Tresia's true passion was being a homemaker for her family. She loved taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren.
Tresia enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes, listening to classic country and dancing. One of her favorite things to do was listen and watch her family play and sing in their band. The family will dearly miss her hamburger soup, soup beans, cheesy potatoes, macaroni salad, and fried chicken and dumplings. Nobody left her house hungry. Above all else, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Tresia is survived by her loving spouse of 51 years, Earl; her children, April Dawn Vest-Jackson of Battle Creek, Michigan, Earl Ray (Elizabeth Ann) Vest, Jr., of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Eric Dale Vest of Ceresco, Michigan; her  grandchildren, Alicia (Wade) Sutherland, Eric Dale Vest, Jr., Nathaniel Ray Vest, Shelby Nichole Jackson, Ivy June Smith, Dominick Jay Vest and Tabitha Rose Vest; her great grandchildren, Sebatyan Carl-Kay  Vest, Oliver Ray Vest, Milo Asa Vest and Dalton Louis Sutherland; her siblings, Fred Shepherd of Homer, Michigan, Colleen (Jim) March of Ceresco, Michigan and Sonja "Faye"  Woodman of Marshall, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two infant siblings, and siblings, Ezra Shepherd, Isola Prater, Estil Shepherd, Emma Mae Watkins, Earl Shepherd and Vicki Sneed.
